1. Accommodation & Facilities

  • Modern amenities may not be available at all locations, as most stops are in remote villages.
  • Available basic facilities: Western commode, running water, and hot meals (typically egg curry, chicken, and local vegetables).
  • Not available: Luxury meals, fancy furniture, TV, internet, and cable channels.

2. Nathang Valley – Altitude Advisory

  • Nathang Valley sits at 13,200 ft; extreme altitude and cold may cause dizziness, headaches, or vomiting.
  • Nights can be sub-zero, so extreme caution is advised.
  • Children and elderly are not recommended to stay overnight in Nathang.
  • Elderly travelers should visit during daytime only and return to lower altitudes after a short stay.

3. Important Documents

  • Carry original + photocopy of ID proof (Voter ID, Driving License, Passport).
  • Bring at least 2 passport-size color photos.
  • For children/minors: Birth Certificate or School ID is mandatory.
